ET...

Who is an alien? What are Extra-terrestrials? I may not be able to give you the exact answer for those questions. But, I can answer if you ask me whether extra-terrestrials exist. Yes, they do. Even, I am one of them. In what way, I can clarify. That is what this post is all about. Earlier in Life, I always had a misconception that was later clarified through a series of realisations and ultimately, I am here today penning down about the existence of ETs.

Now, people are so fond of associating themselves to brands or character types or groups or be it whatever. I hope you get the essence of it. People often associate themselves to such tags. Those who do not wish to do that, are often alienated or perceived to be alienated or in reality they are alienated. That is how a group of friends happen to be. They group themselves. Those who do not wish to group themselves are often sent away. 

Likewise, I always found it difficult to associate myself or group myself and be with a herd mentality. I am on my own. And, I used to say, I am what I am. But, nowadays I have come up with an improvised and an opponent-slapping statement, I am whatever the f@ck I am. This improvised version will alienate me. I know it. But, do I care? You need not measure the size of my shoe size immediately because you will find the show size engraved on your face for asking me that question.

During my initial days, I found this alienation difficult to take and I even lost myself thinking I was at fault or something in me was defective. Since I have survived this long, I can see nothing at all is wrong in me. It is just that I am an ET. As simple as that. I am here for some purpose that is not the purpose of this herd. This herd is busy in following someone or something and grouping itself to different sections. This herd is just following the (m)asses. I am not.

I have my identity carved out of my own self. I need not depend on tags. I am an ET. Yes, I am. Say, I can give another example here. I always tried socialising like everyone else. I was good at it. But, it did not last long. I mean, the relationships with people did not last long. I went in depth to figure out the reason because  I have more than 7 billion heads to deal with as far as I have time on this planet. I figured out that most of the cases, people ran away from me than myself running away from them. So, dafuq with them and I have absolutely no issues with me continuing with them.

There we go. So, ET or extra-terrestrials do exist. Right here. But, it is very difficult to find them because they are not in the crowd. Neither do they really care to advertise this. They are on their own, creating paths than taking paths. They are often let down and thus, they leave footprints or shoe sizes on others' faces. If you are one among the ETs, just continue leaving such shoe sizes. We do have our preferences, priorities, likes, dislikes, and so on. The only reason why we will not be accepted is because we are unique and not following the (m)asses blind f@cking blindly. Yes, we are not doing that. 

We lead. There is no need for anyone to follow. We explore. There is no need to seek refuge in anyone. We dream. There is no need to justify the reasons for our dreams. We leave shoe sizes. Just be proud of that. We win. There is no need to give in to fears. We Live. There is no need to be fake. -rPhoenix
