Every chaos around has fallen silent. Not always do you walk to the terrace so late in the night. In search of something, as if it were readily available at this place and hour. At the silent hour, sitting and gazing at the star-studded sky slowly turn into a cloudy night. A gentle breeze hinting of distant rain, and the faint drizzle slowly kissing the forehead, the visit to the terrace does not seem random anymore.
The sounds of the night turn even more fainter with the increase in rain drops. Slowly reclining to take more of the rain drops head-on, the breeze drives away the clouds to reveal the full moon hiding till now. There are no colours at night. It is only light and dark. An interesting dimension to this world, isn't it? So many colours few hours ago and now just light and dark.
A strange resemblance to words found here and this day-night philosophy. Not long ago words had so much life here, the altar was full of life. Now, it looks more like darkness has taken over. Once so bright, now there's not much light. Once a place of solace, now everything is so less.
The stars twinkle here and there in the night sky. Not all look equally bright, neither are they equally spaced. With so much disparity in nature, how does it make sense to expect equality among creatures? -rPhoenix
