A Duet...

This is a duet composed with one of my valuable fellow blogger Alka Narula. Thank you so much Alka for having chosen my words to be inter-twined with yours to create this duet. To all those who come across this post, i request you to share your valuable feedback, suggestions and critical analysis for the same. :-)

Alka:

Every time i think of yesterday, baby all i can see is no one but you...
i close my eyes and try to feel, you are not around but your fragrance is around me...
i feel your presence in every breath i take, you are the source of life for me...
i need no water, no sun, no air but you; and can live my life in your arms with a smile on my face...

r_Phoenix:

Forbidden is our fate that we have been made to live- few days in isolation,
It won't be long from now, that we would drive across the nation...
To reach heaven a little late, i don't see any desperation- If it is your smile that prolongs my span here...
To reach shore in this voyage, i don't rely on navigation- when it is with you that i set sail- for, i am assured a fantasy land we would reach when our worlds collide...

Alka:

The fantasy land, with your arms around me is all i dream of now; i can sense the emotions in your words and your heart... and the day is not too far, when we shall set for the voyage you promised my heart; but the wait is getting too long... make sure you reach before my smile fades away in the fragrance that you left behind my heart...

Stay awake even in the darkest hour in time, for, i shall visit you once i am running my mills again;
the rise has been marked with precision and the fragrance will remain forever- in your heart that has been yearning for long...
Carrying nothing but love with us, let's prepare to shed this dreaded pain;
When these words reach you, am sure all you would hear is my legions marching in, to let us break away and make way to set off on our voyage- together forever...
