Aren't we into blowing the trumpet for someone else than ourselves? Aren't we getting into sharing things about other great people instead of attempting at becoming one among them? Are we doing this due to lack of avenues to explore or discover? Or, are we lazy to move out and find out newer areas? If this scenario continues, what will the upcoming generation have to talk about us? Is it going to be the end of discoveries and be the age of old wines?
As i scroll through the social networking sites' updates and news feeds, all i see is someone sharing something about someone's achievements or a great speech or a great video feed or a great piece of information that was so far unknown to many. Now, the only question i have to ask these lamers is if they had ever tried to enter that creamy league of achievers. Or, if they are working for marketing such great minds' achievements. What is the point in sharing repeatedly some information that is already stale bread? Isn't it also imperative to make efforts to kick the creativity or achievement legions in us? With absolute understanding that this so-called initiative is helping many know new things from the archives, but, isn't getting overloaded with such initiatives that people have started to only sing praises of the past and forget the contributions required for the future generations?
It was Edison, Newton, Einstein and many more greats who had given us many new things. They had done something for the infinite generations to come. But, we are stuck singing praises about a language that has come millions of years, about mathematic calculations that had been done long since the westerners had even thought about it, about flying objects that once filled the air even before aviation technology had emerged, about things that have lineage mostly to ancient history rather than doing the least bit to contribute to the next generations. To such lamers i ask,
"Have you got nothing else to tell your successors? If so, keep the databases free from your spamming feeds. You will at least give them some space to think and act. Don't make them follow your path and enslave them in the age of singing lame hymns about your forefathers."
Are we lacking the unique ability to think? Are we losing our ability to discover or invent? Are we falling short of newer avenues to discover or explore? The previous question, if validated with a 'yes', then, Is it to be taken as we possess the know-all about everything(here i stress it as every god-damned thing for better emotions). Throughout history, there have been eminent personalities and their generations making contributions for the future. I know not everyone(stressed as every god-damned person) made contribution but they at least restrained or were restrained from meaningless repetitive so-called initiatives singing praises about their ancestors. They were focused on making advancements in their respective fields than to sit back with a drink and keep bragging about the past.
Now, i share my words, my experiences, my findings, my questions, my answers, my travel and many about myself or experiences from my closer ones that will find a place in history if the database exists. I know and understand the wow factor of my ancestors, yet, i use it to gain knowledge and don't go about preaching only that. If there is anything you can do for the future, either make your valuable contribution or as i said, give them space. Let them call you the generation of "the singers of praise". Never talk or feel about pride in being called so.
