Born in the high seas, feeding the endless moisture and gaining strength, here she comes. The Majestic one-eyed beauty marching along with the tides, warning everything in her path, taking a sweep that could wreak havoc to all those who are working against her, here she comes along with her fury. Every other force ending up in vain, with nothing standing in line, she is to make landfall on our shores. Appreciate her for her timely delivery, Poor humans, call everything caused by nature a tragedy, disaster or calamity for they know not how much they are spoiling the planet themselves. The power she would unveil, the massive wind-burst she would bring to us- the source that tells us how angry she is over us, the heavy downpour she would bring us- the source that resembles the tears of this tiring and burdened planet, this storm that is hitting us toward the year end. The storm that has interested me out of all the storms. Reason: partly personal and partly because it has been termed as the powerful storm over the recent years and that is going to make landfall right in our city.
The new things that i would be experiencing would be the hurricane force wind strengths reaching 140kmph and the extremely heavy rain i haven't seen for years. I would want to see myself in the exact place where the eye of the storm makes landfall and i want to be in that place all alone. This is reason enough to stay online and track the storm's movement ever since it was born. The storm rider- a tag i would give myself if i successfully track and witness it make landfall in couple of days.
This would be my second such storm chase. The earlier being the 'jal' cyclone, chasing which was pretty good for a beginner but disappointing as it had lost it power even before landfall.

This storm, if it remains on predicted course will give me a chance to quench my thirst for storm chasing and fuel my passion further and the feel of staying in the midst of a storm and yet to survive it would be heavenly, according to me irrespective of terming it human, inhuman, sane, insane, normal or abnormal.
A droplet of my memory shows that moment where i witnessed a block of concrete chipped off by an earlier storm in my previous residence on a day when a storm warning was issued to our city and this happened more than a decade ago. The power to wrap off anything on her path shows her might and the unmerciful attitude shows the determination that he has and the rain she pours down resembles the way one pours out their pain to a chosen one. The way she rains, spins and sways in the open seas would show her desperation that a person in extreme mental pain would show and the way she hits with full force, makes landfall with all the wind, rain and gust resembles how the same person hugs their loved one and pours out all the turbulence they were experiencing all along. That is the reason why i see a storm always calms down after hitting land.
Similar to this, there is this storm by name 'thane' approaching. And, am all excited to welcome it with arms stretched to hug me and share its burden. There is always a reason to be in the eye of the storm and the same is always best known to those who truly desire it. 'Thane' is approaching and her fury will begin to unfold in a matter of hours from now. This memory i would like to be frozen here in this page as the storm making landfall and me preparing myself to see her, both have a great coincidence after so much turbulence 'thane has had in the sea and myself having it during the calendar months of this year.
