Stop singing, start seeing...

Aren't we into blowing the trumpet for someone else than ourselves? Aren't we getting into sharing things about other great people instead of attempting at becoming one among them? Are we doing this due to lack of avenues to explore or discover? Or, are we lazy to move out and find out newer areas? If this scenario continues, what will the upcoming generation have to talk about us? Is it going to be the end of discoveries and be the age of old wines?

Time for love...

In this busy world, amidst bygone, prevailing and yet to come chaos, aren't we losing out on the most important & common purpose of life? Shouldn't we take or give time for the same and revive the moments that were once or are still or will be shaping us as a better person? By the time you start thinking about what this post is all about, the title would have come to your mind and solved your query. But, after 'What' comes 'How' & 'When'.

In search of 'Nilam'...

The excitement began as the news channels and my favourite weather tracking forum began to start talking of a landfall near Chennai. We were all anticipating heavy rains but that never happened. After missing out on Cyclone 'Thane' last year due to health reasons, i was reminiscing how thrilling was the first storm chase i had taken up couple of years ago running after the 'Jal' cyclone. Now, i knew i had a chance to get back to storm-chasing with cyclone 'Nilam' making a landfall near chennai. Thus, the action began.

Anger...

In a world where emotions are either side-lined or completely ignored due to the fast-paced lifestyle, there is one emotion that is seldom taken care of. That emotion that is seeming to become a grave cause of concern for creating many irreversible consequences in a person's life is nowadays a 'quality' or a 'characteristic' that one should possess to align themselves with the new world. When every other emotion or when every other emotionally attached person sees his exit from the next-gen category, this emotion is expected to remain untouched or even over-hyped to reach levels that sever relationships and so on.

A playlist full of memories...

He plugged his ears with the earphones he had brought for the trip and tapped the 'play' button in his jukebox and gently closed his eyes as the music began to play. Unlike several other trips he had made, this trip was not planned. The power shut down for an entire day provoked him to take up this trip that day. There was so much relief after leaving home and thinking about the trip which would take him through the east coast. This jukebox, he knew would come handy when there was so much time to cruise along the coastline but the reason he took it along was entirely different.

The Dream Voyage afloat...

I want to voluntarily lay flat on the open sea, hands and legs stretched and relaxed and prepare to set afloat on this dream voyage for miles, days and months together until i feel like waking up and walking on land again. I want to drench myself completely in the water, let the water make my hair dance according to its tunes, let the water splash on my body, keep me wet and afloat all the time and continue this voyage until "the moment" arrives. I want to close my eyes and remain still and let my mind, body and soul drift slowly and steadily with the current into the never-ending oceans spanning this planet. I want my thoughts to dissolve in the open sea and gradually feel them get lost in the vast ocean. I don't want to be preyed and neither do i want to be the predator. I want to forget hunger.
