Across the globe...

They set sail on a voyage. It was more of an adventurous journey and the accomplishment of a long-pending dream. It was only the two. They wanted to travel without any boundaries, exploring the entire world all by themselves. The journey would cover many months, many places, many modes of transport, many experiences and many moments. It was one journey that will be the journey of their Life.

They had planned to set sail to a nearby nation. The first of the journey would be by sea to explore the vast oceans and find out what it takes to be there. They sailed for days and nights. They took sufficient time to take note and document their experiences. It was still no study tour. So, they took ample time to enjoy the journey. They came across tiny islands, vast endless shores of a peninsular country, they sailed past many huge cargo vessels, they were even surprised by the dolphins that were swimming along with their sail boat. They sailed through clear skies, stormy seas, chill nights, ah, the clear night skies with all the stars twinkling and the candle light dinner in their boat was too good to be missed out. The romantic experiences were only adding flavour to their voyage by the seas.

As they reached their first destination, they had taken a good look around the places before taking their flight to continue their journey across the globe. This time, it was by air. They had taken a nonstop flight for a day. Both were thrilled to travel so far and wide. They met the crew and sought permission for a celebration so high in the skies. They spoilt themselves by watching them fly through many countries from dawn to dusk before sinking into their cozy seats and sleeping in the skies. As the night emerged, it appeared as if they were flying on a magic carpet when seen out through the window. They looked at each other and quickly cuddled each other and slept off like beings with no botheration about anything else.

As the flight landed on the other side of the globe, they had chosen the road to travel to many historic, romantic, fashionable destinations for the remainder of their journey. They made sure they took sufficient time to capture their journey without any sense of hurrying. There was simply no deadlines, no pre-planned approach, it was all impromptu. They did not want to adhere to any schedule like any other normal tour. They wanted to spend as much time in places of interest. They did everything that they had seen in their past news feed. The difference was, different people had different experiences with one visiting this and the other visiting the other. But, for them, they were visiting all of them and many unknown places as well.

The journey through road covered every possible terrain, hills, snow, riverside, fast lanes, narrow urban lanes, but it was so fun to live it all. They kissed where it mattered and they drew swords where people had battled, they swam to the depths of rivers, they swarmed around eateries like beavers, they warmed themselves when it shivered, they clicked pictures like true lovers. In all, they lived through the journey to the fullest.

With every vacation, it appeared to be the most dull return journey ever. This trip around the globe made them yearn to be lost in the vastness of the globe but they had a resolve to return. For, they had become globetrotters now. They had experienced everything they ever wanted in their Life. They had nothing left out. Now, their hearts were so full of joy and happiness. They knew of their true state of ecstasy, they knew their level of freedom, they had a treasure trove of memories, something that they could go on for narrating to their children and grand children. They had bonded so firm that even death could not set them apart. They had finally reached home driving the last mile to cover a journey across the globe. -rPhoenix
