I sat all night long looking towards the horizon to see the sun rise at dawn. Although I know the sun would not rise anytime earlier than it is supposed to, I still sat there looking. Now, that is foolishness. I know. In fact, the sun never rises not does it set. It is the Earth that revolves and causes this. In the name of science, many ancient beliefs have been silenced. But, isn't it this lame science that taught us early in our schooling days that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west? Isn't science foolish then?
I tried to sleep early and went to bed and rolled here and there and ended up throwing the blanket elsewhere and walk out and set sight on the horizon. It was so cold outside. But, what good is this warmth doing if I sit inside? For all the warmth, all that I find myself today is either stranded or marooned or abandoned or orphaned. The night's cold was not colder than the frozen hearts of people around me anyway.
I know you are there. I know you have something to say but you are either reluctant or restricted. Until I have clarity on that, I shall not speak anything against your actions. I saw shooting stars, I saw the moon, the stars, the dark night sky, every now and then few patches of clouds, the stillness of the night they say. But, is it really still? I doubt it because, there is so much going on out there that does not meet our eyes. Just because it does not meet our eyes, can we term it still?
I try to keep up the morale by suggesting songs, speaking about journeys, hobbies, by scribbling some notes to keep up the hope towards what lies ahead in a month's time from now. Beyond that date, I seriously have no idea how or what it is going to be for me. You better let me know about your results. I sometimes doubt whether I will retain my sanity until then.
I have no intention to burden the place or people here with what exactly I am facing. Rather, I will keep scribbling what best I can to stay positive. In the absence of the Sun, there was the Moon reflecting the Sun's light. Does that make the Moon a fitting replacement to the sun? Never. The Sun can never be replaced with a dull and gloomy Moon. Similarly, in your absence, even if you come down to me and tell me about alternatives, I am not going to budge in anyway and accept such alternatives. Bubbles \(^_^)/
Scientifically, the Sun will eventually burn out and die. Well, before that, this planet Earth would be swallowed by the Sun making it one entity. So, from your scientific point of view, again the Sun can never be replaced. Although we have the Jupiter and Saturn who are the guardians of planet Earth, just like our parents are to us, they are still mere planets and not the replacement to the Sun. Any day, it is the sun that will shine upon Earth just like how it is you who is for me. -rPhoenix
